The U.S. Wildland Fire Service, through the Vale District Bureau of Land Management is seeking career-focused, motivated individuals to participate in our entry-level, PAID Wildfire Academy!

The Academy is dedicated to equipping attendees with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in wildland firefighting, as well as introduce them to the array of job opportunities in wildland fire.

Date: Friday, October 16th – Thursday, October 22nd, 2026.

Application Deadline: August 31st or 200 applications submitted.
