Summary:
This 3-month limited duration position will work within the Warm Springs Watershed Restoration Program located in Warm Springs, Oregon. The selected candidate will assist Program biologists in carrying out projects designed to better understand and improve conditions for Tribal focal fish species (Chinook Salmon, Steelhead/Redband Trout, Bull Trout, and Pacific Lamprey). The selected candidate will spend the majority of the summer collecting environmental DNA (eDNA) samples from streams and rivers in remote areas of the Reservation, and assisting other Program technicians with riparian fencing maintenance.
